What Is a Pop Bag?
The pop bag — also known as a burst bag or bang bag — is a classic pressure-activated novelty toy. The user squeezes it and throws it to the ground, where the impact bursts the sealed pouch and produces a sharp popping sound. It is one of the oldest and most consistently popular items in the prank and novelty category.
How It Works
The toy relies entirely on air pressure. Squeezing compresses the air inside a sealed pouch; the impact of landing releases that pressure suddenly, and the rapid escape of air produces the pop. There is no flame, no spark, no chemical reaction and no projectile — the toy produces sound and nothing else.

Safety and Compliance
Every batch is tested against the European toy safety standard:
- EN 71-1 — mechanical and physical properties
- EN 71-2 — flammability
